Application of ozone generator space disinfection technology

Ozone disinfection is a modern mainstream high-efficiency disinfection and sterilization technology. Ozone has strong oxidation, fast reaction speed and good disinfection, sterilization, preservation and deodorization. Ozone has an obvious killing effect on microorganisms in the air. When 10 ppm ozone is used for 30 minutes, the killing rate of natural bacteria can reach more than 90%. Ozone sterilization is an important recommended mainstream sterilization technology in GMP in China.
1、 Principle of ozone sterilization
The disinfection and sterilization process of ozone belongs to biochemical process, which oxidizes and decomposes the glucose oxidase inside bacteria and necessary for glucose oxidation. Ozone can also directly interact with bacteria and viruses to destroy their organelles and RNA. Ozone generator generates ozone molecules, which can decompose macromolecular polymers such as DNA, RNA, protein, lipids and polysaccharides. Ozone molecules destroy the material metabolism, production and reproduction process of bacteria. It can also penetrate the cell membrane tissue, invade the cell membrane, act on the outer membrane lipoprotein and internal lipopolysaccharide, make the cell have permeability distortion, and lead to cell dissolution and death. The genetic genes, parasitic strains, parasitic virus particles, bacteriophages, mycoplasma and pyrogen (bacterial and viral metabolites, endotoxin) in the dead bacteria were dissolved, denatured and destroyed.
2、 Sterilization advantages of ozone
1. High diffusivity: ozone molecule is a gas with good diffusion performance. There is no dead angle in the sterilization space 360 degrees, the concentration distribution in the space is uniform, and the sterilization effect is stable.
2. Ozone is recognized as a broad-spectrum and efficient bactericide in the disinfection technical specifications: ozone has a good killing effect on a variety of pathogenic microorganisms such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, hepatitis virus and fungi. Scientific research shows that ozone has strong sterilization and disinfection effect. It not only has strong killing ability to various bacteria (including hepatitis virus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and other miscellaneous bacteria), but also is effective to fungi. At present, there is no report of ozone resistance to some pathogenic microorganisms, which overcomes the disadvantage of resistance to traditional chemical sterilizers.
3. After ozone disinfection, it naturally decomposes into oxygen, which is safe and has no residue, and there is no possibility of secondary pollution.
4. Just plug in the ozone generator to generate ozone gas, which can be directly output to the required sterilization space.
